Here you will only find good news. I believe good news are interesting, informative, inspirational, worth spreading. I am the sole judge of what makes a piece of news good or bad – but at the same time your suggestions are essential and reviews welcome.

“We haven’t seen each other for so long. I have so much to tell you”
Aung San Suu Kyi is free today. Many of us have been waiting for this fora long time: some actively, some in the back of our minds. But today is a happy day for all. Let’s just hope there’s nothing behind it… It’s sad to fear and not be able to rejoyce wholly, but the world IS a scary place.
Can consumption be sustainable?
If a good deed is indeed done, do care what are the reasons behind the deed? Do you agree that corporations today are possibly more powerful than governments? Do you think that doing sustainable business is an opportunity? I have discovered csrwire.com and will be attending Unilever’s broadcast on Monday November 15. To keep informed and to keep an eye on things. I think we all agree that we should comsume less, but we should certainly consume better and the more green, fair trade, sustainable products will be available to the public, the easier it will be. If acting “greener” is a good marketing opoortunity, I don’t mind it, I’d just like to see more people act greener. Always keeping skeptical about just how green the act really is, of course ;-).
It doesn’t have near enough space under the media spotlight, but good news is always happening around the world
How to get through the hard times by pulling together – The kindness of a stranger
This is more an inspiring story than a piece of news, but I’ve been happy to read it and I hope so will you.

Hi! I’m not sure which search brought you here, but glad you are here 🙂 I’m far from being a famous blogger, I keep up my passion for writing and try to use it co communicate and support my other passions. I had left the blog in stand-by for a while, as I was busy with work. Back to being jobless, I’m re-launching the blog. At the moment I am concentrating on trying to earn the 2013 Nobel peace Prize for Lampedusa. Join us if you can, ans share thank you: http://www.change.org/it/petizioni/nobel-prize-awarding-institutions-and-nobel-peace-prize-winners-assegnare-il-premio-nobel-per-la-pace-a-tutti-i-cittadini-di-lampedusa-award-the-nobel-peace-prize-to-all-citizens-of-lampedusa?share_id=znaQYWMPJK&utm_campaign=share_button_mobile&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition If you don’t know about the issue, this is it: I hope you will follow me and sign my petition to assign the Nobel Peace Prize to all citizens of Lampedusa. Thousends of asylum-seekers (young and old men, women – often pregnant -, children, in one word People) die every year in the Mediterranean waters, while looking for a new life, in our lands, but especially far from theirs, where there is no chance for life. They take to the waters knowing that MAYBE they won’t die – and that maybe is the only hope for them. Our single nations are incapable of facing the problem effectively, and the EU does not have a united policy about it. Each law alone can’t stop this problem, which is not an emergency, is a reality of our time – it’s our whole attitude that needs a good wake-up call. “If you think a law can stop migrations, you are out of history” said yesterday Monsignor D’Ercole. The people of Lampedusa are some of the most affected by these migrations and all they do is open their arms, over and over again. Awarding them this important prize would bring light onto an issue that is not only theirs, but ours, as Europeans and citizens of the world, no matter how far from the Mediterranean shores we live. Not seeing a problem doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. As far as Italy goes, we just can’t watch this go on and never do anything about it. The Nobel Peace Prize is a very tangible help. Let’s try and make a difference. Thank you
